STAKES

Numeric takes a place more and more important in the way of listening music. This new technologic context creates a lot of new reading possibilities.

For Kenwood, which the bigger part of its production concerns the car audio. To adapt the car to this musical revolution is a great mission and will be important in the future.

However with the development of the medias in car, more and more musical systems are created by a partnership between hifi and car brends. So this deal with a musical concept car created by Kenwood and a car company.

My objectives are to create a car with a media system adaptated to the new musical behaviours linked to numeric datas, to link the car and the house to play in it all the music datas stocked in one or several computers in the house, to create also a sharing system between the cars in the road network, to install in the cockpit a usefull system of navigation to control the GPS, the music and car options.

OBJECT

My project is a car linked to the house by wifi in mesh network.

By tripping the car begin a Wifi bubble. Travelers can share their musics with other users who drive a car, with the same Wifi system, when their bubbles are in contact.

On the car, a simple system of control permits an intuitive navigation from the different paylists to the GPS and the car options. Front and back passengers can act on the interface with the same sliding button. The driver can control by driving in the stering weel and visit the unknowed playlists with a shuffle button.

SERVICES

This concept car shows how could be a Kenwood car partenership adaptated to the numeric revolution. It's a project to give a natural and simple access to the different medias which helps the travel in car to be more and more comfortable...
