International scope

The International scope concerns all the actors and all the activities of the school. It allows students to picture their studies in a context of global practice and to become aware of the issues; it contributes to promoting a cultural mix within the school; it feeds the academic curriculum.
The international curriculum of ENSCI-Les Ateliers also extends to activities outside the school: academic exchanges, internships, seminars with foreign designers, joint study programs, partnerships ...
ENSCI relies on an extensive network of academic, professional and institutional partners abroad. Some of these partners assist the School in the development of joint study and research programs. For example: National University of Singapore; Chiba University, Japan; National Institute of Design (NID), India.
ENSCI is a member of the MEDes network (Master of European Design) created in 1999. This program enables students from seven partner schools and universities to complete two years of study in two different European cities: Cologne, Glasgow, Helsinki, Milan, Paris, Stockholm and Aveiro.

An English-language project workshop was created in 2009, allowing integrated linguistic practice in the project, and facilitating the opening of the entrance examination for foreign candidates. The School has been a member of WDO (World Design Organization), an international professional design association, since 1985, and participates in the international network of Cumulus schools and universities as well as DESIS Nework (Design for Social Innovation and Sustainability).

Incoming students

Each year, the school selects about thirty foreign students to participate in a semester of studies at ENSCI. The reception of students is the subject of an agreement and a study contract established between ENSCI and the partner organization.
