Pays de fête

Urban folklore festivals

Diploma project in industrial design of Nathan Bonnaudet

Urban standardisation tends to squeeze out folk heritage, inhibiting the expression of local cultures. “Pays de fête” occupies a former clay quarry in the northern suburbs of Marseille: by embracing the specific character of the area and its people, the project develops all forms of folk heritage events for everyone to enjoy.
