DIPLOMA OF JOËL DUNKL IN INDUSTRIAL CREATION
This bicycle invites its users to explore new landscapes and territories. It is suitable for all types of terrain - alphalt, wood, etc.- and is fully foldable to facilitate transportation. The entire system of this bike was designed to reduce it's produce it's production cost. Thus, the use of metal instead of carbon fiber or aluminum decreases both the price of the bike and its environmental impact.
DÔME - LASSO - RAYONS
DIPLOMA OF COLINE FONTAINE IN INDUSTRIAL CREATION
The outdoors are a place of impermanence, changes of state, especially climate changes. The life that unfolds in public spaces gives and agrees to the rhythm of these daily and seasonal uc- tuations. However, for the most part, the objects that punctuate these spaces are designed to remain bolted into the ground. Rather than seeking to go against these changes, creating temporary arrangements makes it possible to accompany, with more exibility and enthusiasm, the seasonality of the city. Dôme-Lasso-Rayons forms a family of seasonal water fountains, to drink and play with water. They connect via the mouths on the sidewalks to the city’s double water system for the few months or the few hottest days of the year. Dôme offer us to drink a clear and precious bubble of water. Lasso, impermament and dynamic, demands of us to use tactics to splash around without getting wet. Rayons refreshes us by deploying its vibrating wheels, like peacocks cranes. The water is both sculpted and untameable, and the unpredictable behavior of the users, each one of them moving uniquely, reacting to the action.

The path that leads the idea to the nished product has been divided into separate disciplines: design, industrial manufacturing, crafts. By exploring the meeting of design and manufacturing, to create a process where production is an integral part of the design itself, ins- tead of making a drawing and communicating it to the manufacturers, we would turn the support for the drawing - the paper - into a three dimentional reality.
PARCELLES
DIPLOMA OF CLÉMENTINE PELLEGRIN IN TEXTILE DESIGN
Parcelles proposes a exible arrangement of public space by using textiles. This project is a response to a call for bids launched by the 13th arrondissement of Paris regarding the site of the public garden of the Poterne des Peupliers. This garden-promenade in Paris’s “Petite Ceinture” area is bordered by the tramway and a residential area. This work requali es the space between the rails, unused by users. It turns this space where people used to cross paths into a destination. Three plans, understood as parcels, that is to say the small parts of a whole, are created by horizontal devices. A corrugated oor offers a surface for racing and games to give a rhythm to the promenade. Five modules attached to the rails are coated with colored rubber slabs inspired by grasslands owers. Movable foundations paradoxically indicate surfaces to tempo- rarily take over the space of the public garden. Waterproof foam is embedded in the weave of the tissue and mineral motifs are printed. Roofs create a space underneath in which the sensory perception agrees with the temporality of the garden. Inspired by trellises, these three parcels are each created by braiding heat-bonded Batyline® strips. The Parcels may adapt to other urban contexts, the marketplace, the street or the along the quays.
A wandering thrill goes by
DIPLOMA OF PAULINE VITUPIER IN TEXTILE DESIGN
This range of three metal and textile mobiles is a collection of contem- plative objects. Each of them witness the soft blow of a breeze. They detect it and their movement highlight its presence. Then, we become spectators in front of a theater in which forms, colors and movements give substance to the passing of air. These mobiles are an inspiration to the imagination. Their evocative forms and suggestive movements invite their observer to project images, stories, and memories. Absorbing their observation means forgetting what one has behind the eyes, allowing themselves to be carried by this hypnotizing dance. This textile collection is inspired by the forms generated by wind in nature. These are eeting and ephemeral, they disappear quite rapidly and reshape each moment. With Les Dunes one’s eyelashes ripple, the lines undulate and the warm colors of desert reunite. For Les Vagues, the surface of water vibrates and clouds of sea foam accumulate, the wave of the wind animates the sea with a choppy wave which catches the light. In Les Nuages a stormy sky growls and clouds carry with them a thunderstorm. There are sparse bursts of light pierced by cottony trails.
FLYING ON THE GROUND
DIPLOMA OF ÉMILIE CABELLO IN TEXTILE DESIGN
The starting point for this project is the particular context of the Paris airports in which disorientation, noise and waiting time are recurring problems. The idea is to inject into these surfaces an impression of locality, and to translate the eetingness of the journey into the sky. The proposed textile solutions play with the theme of migration and anchor point, a formal abstract and geometric game highlighted by contrasts of materials and colors evoking Paris. The collection is made up of seat covers designed to identify different areas into the airport (boarding area, rest room, rst class space etc.). Textile walls absorb sound nuisance and border the space as well as glass wall separa- tors, printed mirrors and oor tiles with signage. These materials also contribute to restoring a Parisian identity to these generic spaces, to re ect the imagery of travels and escape.
